The vision of St. Joseph’s College of Higher Education and Research is very much rooted in the CMI Vision of Education which derives its spirit and sustenance from the teachings of Christ and the ideals of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of the CMI congregation.
To ensure the holistic development of the individual taking care of his/her physical, intellectual, spiritual, moral, psychological and social needs.
To create a just and humane society where the human person is respected and where justice, religious harmony and mutual accommodation are promoted
To assist the nation in its noble venture to provide quality education to the rural masses.
Keeping in close allegiance with the vision we profess, we intend to discharge the following functions which we consider to be the unique mission of our institution:
Create a young generation of sound body and mind by providing opportunity to the youth within the state and elsewhere to receive quality education in sports and games
Toe the line of the National Education Policy by making provision in the institution to study the new generation high tech programmes in the college
Equip the young generation with the skills required to fulfil the demands of the challenging global job market
Provide both a career oriented and value based education to the young
